Wrapped up the Colombia trip out near Fredonia on the Cauca Valley at a Finca. Antioquia is like the Texas of Colombia (mindset). It is the end of the Northern Andes and both tropical and mountainous. It is raw life old school style where you kill your pigs and cattle and eat them fresh with cold beer and Aguardiente.

Drove across the Rio Cauca and way up into the mountains to visit Jerico for local coffee, pastelitos, and parapendio at just under 8,000 feet. Colombia is full of local gems.

Drove over to El Penol to climb to the top and see a bit around Guatape’. Amazing views and history here related to Pablo Escobar’s life.
